Science-based prevention
"Science-based
prevention refers to the delivery of prevention interventions that have been
demonstrated through scientific methods to be effective. Science-based
prevention interventions have been researched with rigorous scientific
methods, and have been shown to reduce risk factors associated with substance
abuse, increase protective factors, and/or reduce substance abuse."
