Child and Family Services
Child and Family Services offers a comprehensive array of
outpatient, residential and outreach oriented services to
children, age birth to 18 and their families. Treatment
modalities utilized include diagnostic evaluation and
assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group
therapy, behavior management counseling,
psychiatric/medication evaluations, psychological
evaluations, trauma assessments, and treatment
consultations with care givers. The program also offers
consultation and education services to the community on
various topics, such as child development, parenting
skills, sexual abuse, community based treatment and crisis
management. Referrals are received from parents, legal
services, Developmental Evaluation Center, Head Start, day
care centers and professionals in the medical community.
The program also encompasses services to Youth Behavioral
Services. In this program, as well as others, attempts are
made to provide comprehensive clinical services to the
client and his/her family on the least restrictive but
most appropriate community based setting.
