Bereavement Support Group of Cape Fear Valley Hospice
The Bereavement Support Group of Cape Fear
Valley Hospice meets in the Hospice Department on the second floor of the
Village Drive Education Center (3418 Village Drive) on the first and third
Thursdays of every month from noon to 1:30 p.m. The group is for those who
are coping with the death of a loved one. For more information, please call

Community Support
Group (The Many Faces of Loss)
The purpose of this group is to provide
support and educational information that focus on identification and
expression of the emotions related to the loss of hope, dreams, loved
ones…etc. The group meets the 2nd Monday of every month (except
January and July--a little break for the busy holidays), from 6:00 pm to
7:00 pm at Advantage Hospice and Home Care, 1710 Owen Drive (Under the
Tower), Fayetteville, North Carolina. For more information, please

Compassionate
Friends
Compassionate Friends, a support group
for families who have experienced the death of a child, meets on the first
Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Cardinal Room at the Village Drive
Education Center of Cape Fear Valley Health System (3418 Village Drive,

SHARE
Bereavement Support Group
The SHARE Bereavement Support Group
meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Dogwood and
Pine Rooms of the Village Drive Education Center of Cape Fear Valley Health
System, located at 3418 Village Drive. SHARE is a self-help support group
for parents who have lost babies through miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic
pregnancy or genetic abnormality, as well as newborn or infant deaths up to
age one. Lori S. Farmer, RN, ARNP, MS, APNG(c) a local nurse genetic
counselor and perinatal bereavement counselor, is the group’s coordinator.
There is no cost to participate. Parents are welcome to come together, alone
