AND FAMILY SERVICES |
Child and Family Services offers access to a
comprehensive array of outpatient, residential and
outreach oriented services to children, age birth to
18 and their families. Treatment modalities utilized
include diagnostic evaluation and assessment,
individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy,
behavior management counseling,
psychiatric/medication evaluations, psychological
evaluations, trauma assessments, wrap around
services, residential services and treatment
consultations with caregivers. The program also
offers consultation and education services to the
community on various topics, such as child
development, parenting skills, sexual abuse,
community based treatment and crisis management.
Referrals are received from parents, legal services,
schools, the Child Development Services Agency (CDSA),
Head Start, day care centers and professionals in
the medical community. The program also encompasses
services to children who are involved with several
agencies and also have complex treatment needs
who may currently be in
out of home placement or at risk of out of home
placement. Attempts are made to provide
comprehensive clinical services to the client and
his/her family in the least restrictive but most
appropriate community based setting.
