Description of Duties:
The employee functions as a Software Security
Officer for the UniCare and Profiler software
which is used Center wide. The employee helps
design, implement and maintain security systems
that eliminate unauthorized access to Center
data. The employee also functions as the Training
Officer for the UniCare and Profiler software.
The employee designs, implements and maintains
training manuals and courses for all software
modules that have been purchased. The employee
also functions as the Data Integrity Officer. The
employee develops, implements, and maintains
editing standards and reports that are used by all
staff to aide in the integrity of the data being
entered into the UniCare software system. The
employee also works with Clinical, Administrative,
and Support staff to develop and insure the most
efficient means of collecting, processing, and
disseminating information required by State and
Federal mandates, Medicaid, Medicare, Client Data
Warehouse, and other governing entities. The
employee analyzes and recommends solutions to
technical problems that arise and assist in
formulating policies and procedures within the
Department. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Graduation from a four-year college
or university with a major in business
administration, information systems management, or
a closely related field and one year of experience
in the management of a data system; or an
equivalent combination of training and
experience.
Other Requirements:
Position offer is contingent upon
drug-screening test and receipt of negative
results, a physical examination, and background
check for all positions with Cumberland County
Mental Health. Reference checks will be conducted
on the top applicants. Official college
transcripts are required upon hire. Employees
must have a current, valid North Carolina driver's
license with a safe driving record and must
maintain a safe driving record throughout
employment. Some positions require employee to be
certified in North Carolina Interventions (NCI).
