Local Mental Health Unit Coordinator (LME)

Minimum Education & Experience:

Master’s degree in guidance counseling, nursing, psychology, social work, theology, or related human service field, and two years of experience in the treatment of mental illness.  Must also be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Psychological Associate.

Description of Duties: 

Responsible for oversight, training and supervision of all activities related to authorization of services across all disability groups; responsible for managing utilization of resources for all services.  The Service Management Unit is responsible for utilization management/utilization review for the Local Management Entity.
