Description of Duties: The primary purpose of this position is to provide outpatient assessment and treatment services to clients enrolled in the Child and Family Services Program. This position independently provides psychological evaluations, testing, and treatment of complex behavioral and emotional disorders for clients presenting with a variety of problems which require in-depth evaluations and referral to the proper modality of care. This position provides administrative and clinical supervision of Staff Psychologist II positions within the Agency, (adult and child) and coordinates all psychological services for the program. Performs all other duties as required by position.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum Education & Experience: Doctoral degree in psychology and two years of professional psychological experience. Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina under provisions specified by the Practicing Psychologist Act (G.S. 90-270.7).

Other Requirements: Applicants must have a current, valid North Carolina driver's license with a safe driving record and must maintain a safe driving record throughout employment; a physical examination; and official college transcripts upon hire. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions with Cumberland County Mental Health. Reference checks/background checks will be conducted on the top candidates. Some positions require employee to be certified in North Carolina Intervention (NCI).
