We are delighted to inform you that Cumberland County Mental Health Center will receive 3 awards at the North Carolina Council of Community Programs’ Winter Conference in Pinehurst, N.C.. We have been selected to receive “Awards of Excellence” in the following categories:

1.      Partnership to Improve Services (Mental Health Collaborative)

2.      Public Awareness and Advocacy (Access to Information)

3.      Community Collaboration to Benefit Non-Target Population Consumers (Teens

         Making a Change)

We were also notified that our agency has been selected by Employment Source to receive their “2008 Rehabilitation Partner Service Award”. This award will be presented to Mr. Debnam at Employment Source’s Annual Meeting and Awards Presentation on October 23, 2008.

We are very excited about these recognitions but more excited about the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
